Mastering Soft Skills
for Women in STEM

  • How & Why to Speak Up

  • Building Social Capital

  • Articulating Your Value with Confidence

  • Establishing Allies

The Athena Academy | Mastering Soft Skills offers companies a 4-part workshop that provides "soft skills" training for women in STEM.

Led by Dr. Alessandra Wall -Athena’s resident clinical psychologist- participants can expect to access the practical tools and strategies for "How & Why Women Speak Up," "Building Social Capital,” "Articulating Your Value With Confidence,” and "Establishing Allies. ”If you’re eager to close the gap between your employees' progress and their potential, secure your seats at the Athena Academy.

Soft skills are personal competencies that improve human performance, facilitate effective interactions, complement the technical requirements necessary to create impact in the workplace and scale your career objectives.

"The irony of "soft skills" is that they're often the hardest to master. Leadership, communication, collaboration, creativity, and adaptability may not be technical, but they're increasingly vital. Behavioral, social, and emotional skills are what make humans indispensable."

- Adam Grant Organizational psychologist and author

“It was an honor to complete the Athena Academy.  It gave us many insights on things we knew, but didn't realize their bigger impacts. This helped me become a better, stronger person. I already used the principles and reached out to my VP and am now moving to a team I want to work with, next month! I hadn't even set my goal this high through the program. Thank you for making that difference!"
