Artificial Intelligence is the current technology wave that seems to permeate all aspects of our life.  Whether you call upon your smart speaker at home to add items to your grocery list or cue up an energizing playlist as you get ready for work in the morning, leverage ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to level up your writing and your output, or simply  make use AI facilitated app integrations, AI is already part of your daily life.

Yet, despite the surging demand for AI across all people, men remain the primary developers of AI applications.  A 2020 World Economic Forum report found that women make up only 26 percent of AI positions in the workforce, while the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI’s 2021 AI Index Report found that women make up just 16 percent of tenure-track faculty focused on AI globally.
