Athena has been named the 'Champion of Women' winner for the 2019 Women of Influence Awards, a celebration of Women’s History Month, recognizing women who lead the way in business, industry and enterprise, along with the organizations and individuals that champion women leaders.
"For 20 years, Athena has been fast tracking women in STEM with a goal to achieve gender equality," said Athena CEO, Holly Smithson. "We are proud to be recognized by another organization that fervently champions women leaders."
The Champion of Women award specifically recognizes a company or organization that provides internal programs and initiatives that are unique, cutting edge and specifically designed to support the advancement and acceleration of women in the workplace.
